Fìkh Kæ Khiwì (/kæ/ /ˈxiwɨ/ [fat] [end]) is a subtropical Large Town located in Qælanæm Zone, Liwbărǐm District, within the Federation of Alveria.

The name Fìkh Kæ Khiwì is derived from the Constructi language, as Fìkh Kæ Khiwì was founded by Khas Trtèdo, who was culturaly Constructi.

Climate

Fìkh Kæ Khiwì has a yearly average temperature of 30°C (86°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a blistering 34°C (93°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 27°C (80°F). Fìkh Kæ Khiwì receives an average of 250 cm/y (98 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Fìkh Kæ Khiwì covers an area of nearly 6 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 2408 m (7900 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Fìkh Kæ Khiwì was founded in time immemorial, reportedly some time durring the early 6th century, by Khas Trtèdo. The establishment of Fìkh Kæ Khiwì was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Khas Trtèdo electing to pay people to resettle in Fìkh Kæ Khiwì.

Fìkh Kæ Khiwì was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the early 6th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fìkh Kæ Khiwì is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Fìkh Kæ Khiwì is is constructed arround a semi-circular spacious flagstone mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town sits comfortably behind a palisade wall complete with a timber gatehouse and battlments. Fìkh Kæ Khiwì's timber-based walls has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

A look around Fìkh Kæ Khiwì is like a look into a broken heart which long ago fell to corruption. There is no planning, no organization. Everyone here clearly goes about their own thing with little thought to anyone around them who isn’t selling something they need… unless of course, they would be an easy target for some robbery. The town has truly fallen to evil.

Civic Infrastructure

Fìkh Kæ Khiwì has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Fìkh Kæ Khiwì. Fìkh Kæ Khiwì possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Large Town. Fìkh Kæ Khiwì's grid is powered by a boiler and turbine based power plant.

Fìkh Kæ Khiwì has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Fìkh Kæ Khiwì's natural decorations nor waterways.

Fìkh Kæ Khiwì has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Fìkh Kæ Khiwì has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

Fìkh Kæ Khiwì's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its buildings being predominantly formed through the combination of basic geometric shapes. However, it shown in the detailing given to the structures such as its characteristic tall columns, intricate detail, symmetry, harmony, and balance in their designs to an astonishing degree of precision. Decorative elements for the buildings tended to be built into the structure itself, making great use of fluting, frescoes, inlays, and embossing.

Due to the actions of local Kami, spring is recurring in Fìkh Kæ Khiwì.

The Giant hissing cockroach near Fìkh Kæ Khiwì are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.

Fìkh Kæ Khiwì's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves long periods of drunkenness to channel Augury energies of tier 2 via throat singing.
